Your Session Experience

STEP 01

Connect
You reach out through the contact form with your preferred date and what you're picturing. I read every message myself and get back to you with availability and next steps.
STEP 02

Reserve & Prepare
A $200 non-refundable retainer secures your date — and that's also the point where we actually start planning. Once it's in, we get into the real details together: the location, what to wear, and anything else that'll make the session feel like you.
STEP 03

Picture time
On the day, all you need to do is show up. I'll guide you through it — where to stand, small adjustments, enough ease that the real moments have room to happen.
I'd love for you to arrive about 10 minutes early — it gives us a buffer for traffic or parking, and a moment to settle in before we start.
Sessions begin at the scheduled time, so if you arrive late, we'll simply have less time together for the shoot itself — which also means fewer images in your final gallery.
STEP 04

Your Gallery
Your gallery is usually ready within 2–4 weeks, depending on the session.
Once it's delivered, you're welcome to look into prints — albums, folios, the kind of thing you can actually hold, not just scroll past.
FAQ
How do I book a photo session with you?
Just send an inquiry with your date and what you're picturing. I'll get back to you with availability and next steps — a $200 non-refundable retainer is what secures your date and kicks off the planning.
How do payments and rescheduling work?
A $200 non-refundable retainer secures your date, with the remaining balance due on or before your session. If you need to reschedule, just let me know at least 48 hours before your session, and we'll find a new date — I'm able to offer one reschedule per booking. If notice comes in less than 48 hours, the retainer is non-refundable and won't carry over.
When is the best time for a session?
It depends on the location — sunrise works best for the beach, sunset for parks. Studio and in-home sessions are more flexible with timing. I'll help you figure out what's best once we know where we're shooting.
What should I wear?
Once you've booked, I'll share some guidance on colors and styles that photograph well for your session.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Only unsafe conditions — like storms or lightning — call for a reschedule. Clouds, a little wind, even light rain often make for beautiful photos, so those aren't a reason to cancel.
Do you give RAW files?
No — every image is fully edited before it reaches you, so what you get is a finished, cohesive gallery, not a batch of unedited shots.
Do you offer albums or prints?
Yes — albums, matted folios, and fine-art prints, all customizable. You can add them when booking or after your gallery is delivered.
Can I add a video to my session?
Yes — a short highlight video can be added to your session. Just let me know when you book, and we'll include it.
